As part of our fundraising efforts, we regularly plan a series of art exhibitions that feature the art work of the AFC children.  What makes the children’s work so unique is that it provides an excellent avenue for collaboration between the children in Ethiopia and artists and art students residing in the United States.  In the past, we have partnered with students at the Savannah College of Arts and Design in Atlanta, Georgia.

Artists have been able to print and display the work of the children as well as donate their own artwork to support fundraising efforts.  We are currently looking for artists to donate artwork for up coming benefit exhibitions in Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco; and Washington, D.C.  Proceeds from the exhibitions will benefit the Children’s Home in Ethiopia.

AFC is a registered 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization.  The value of supplies used to produce donated artwork is tax deductible.

We believe that the children’s artwork is a testimony to their strength and tenacity in overcoming their difficult circumstance of having to live with the HIV,  and would be well-received by audiences from diverse background.
